Supremely Green Smoothie!

Happy Raw Wednesday, everyone! It’s been a quick minute since I’ve posted a raw recipe, this vacation certainly isn’t helping. Ha! I’ve been craving a smoothie lately, and because I have an overload of kale in the fridge, I decided that this drink is where some of it was going. I love this kind of “meal” because it gives you a great start to your day, and I don’t even need to drink coffee to wake me up (or crash from later on).

I wish that I had already had a frozen banana before starting this, but unfortunately I didn’t. So, I will give you the recipe as if I did and it will turn out even better than mine!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Frozen Banana, Sliced
  • 1 Cup Kale, Sliced and Loosely Packed
  • 1 Large Apple, Roughly Chopped
  • 1/2-3/4 Cup Water

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in blender, but add water gradually depending on the desired viscosity. Puree until very well blended and throw in a couple of ice cubes in if you’d like it a little cooler.
