Vegan Yack Attack Giveaway!!

Let’s kick off Vegan MOFO and the month of October right! I’m having this giveaway so that I can debut my full-fledged and self-hosted blog here at veganyackattack.com! I will still be using my tumblr a lot, it will just be a little less formal and I’ll be posting more than just recipes there. Having this blog opens up a whole new world for my readers and I and hopefully I’ll be able to reach a larger audience while also getting to interact with you more. So, without further ado, let me go over what’s in this awesome giveaway!

First up: I handmade these cute potholders out of vintage (vegan) fabric and embroidered them as well. If I wasn’t so set on putting them in the giveaway I would have kept them myself!

Second: We have three different flavors of Gluten Free cookies from A Couple Smart Cookies! Included in the giveaway are the Peanut Butter <3’s Chocolate Chip, Fudge², and Pumpkin Dates Cherry cookies. I sampled them all (not these packages!) and absolutely loved them. They have the consistency of a cookie and brownie combined and the flavors were definitely there. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite, but my mom and I REALLY liked the Peanut Butter <3’s Chocolate Chips ones!

Third: Delicious, vegan caramels from the wonderful Nicole at Feed Your Face! Nicole had some severe water damage in her home that has cost her thousands of dollars. Now, she’s selling these AMAZING caramels to raise money for her home; so, even if you don’t win, you should definitely go by her etsy store and buy some to support her cause. For the giveaway I have 2 caramels of 10 different flavors, that’s 20 FREAKING CARAMELS!

Fourth: Handmade Vegan soaps from Vegan Soaps on Etsy! The different bars that I’m including are her Bentonite Clay (which is great), the Unscented Coconut Milk, Apple Cinnamon Spice (Uh.. YUM!), and Oatmeal Lavender. She uses as many food grade ingredients as she can, and keeps these soaps non-toxic and terrific for sensitive skin.

Fifth: From Naked Eye Beauty in LA, we have samples of some of her favorite products that she sells; all vegan, all natural and all awesome. Included in this little packet is a green clay face mask & scrub (I tried this last night and it was pretty freaking great), Blonde Dry Shampoo powder, Clarifying Toner (which also works very well) and Rose Tinted Lip Balm (smells and looks good). Support your local vegan beauty maven and go buy some goodies from her!

Sixth: Vegancraftastic sent me some INSANELY CUTE pins! Look at those lil’ pandas and kitties! I wish I could cuddle and keep them, alas I am offering them up to you! Also included are two hand-painted flower hair clips with vintage metal buttons that I have made. They are sturdy and gorgeous and you can wear them in your hair, on your scarves or as a bag accessory!

Seventh: Geez, seventh?! I’m spoiling you guys! Anyway, not pictured above but definitely included, is an eyeshadow set from Just Pure Minerals on Etsy! These cosmetics are completely vegan and free of synthetic preservatives, bismuth oxychloride, parabens, and synthetic dyes found in other cosmetics. They are ideal for sensitive skin, are not tested on animals and just check out the array of colors they offer! You can also Like them on Facebook, so check ’em out!
